Clean eating is not a diet; it more likely represents a new and improved lifestyle when it comes to food and its process of preparation.
Great Tips on How to Eat Clean
Firstly, you should eat at least 5 times a day. You should have three main meals and two or three small snacks. Your meals should include a lot of fruit and vegetables, proteins and a complex carbohydrate. This way, your body will be energized all day long and you will also burn calories.
You should also avoid processed and refined foods such as sugar, bread, white flour or pasta. We would suggest consuming instead whole grains.
Further more, you should drink at least 2 liters of water daily. This way you will maintain a proper body hydration and you will have lots of energy.
When buying foods, you should pay more attention to the labels. Why? Because clean foods normally contain one or two ingredients. Products with a longer list of ingredients are not considered clean.
Take time and enjoy your meal! You should never eat on the go! It is also important to make it a family affair because there is no better place than dinner to share your news with your loved ones. This way, you will improve both yours and your family’s quality of life.
