The Swedish Hasbeens spring 2011 shoe collection comes with a wide range of styles and colors, suitable for every taste, allowing you to pull together trendy spring and summer looks. The shoe line contains different versions of the already famous wooden clogs, but also sandals, ballerina flats, and boots made of sustainably harvested wood and vegetable-tanned, natural-grained leathers.
Having a retro vibe, the collection is inspired by the colors of the ’50s and ’60s (the ’60s Slingback model), by the ’40s romantic style (Peep toe Slingback model) or by the late ’70s disco period for the high-heeled clog (the Covered Super High model). The collection has a riot of dazzling colors, from soft neutrals to captivating brights such as neon pink, red, yellow, mint, green, turquoise.
Mimmi is a slingback design with a ’40s-inspired rounded upper with perforated leather and a sweet bow on top for a romantic, sweet touch. This model is easy to slip in. In fact, every pair in this collection is characterized by comfort and the buckle from the slingback models allows you to adjust the strap for a perfect fit. The Sky High Slip In model is both comfy and cool, working great for a beautiful spring/summer 2011 outfit.
As already mentioned, there is something for everyone in the Swedish Hasbeens spring 2011 collection. Even though they are called Grease Sky High, these clogs with a rock’n roll vibe give you the opportunity to dance and move freely. Every piece in this line flawlessly combines style and comfort due to its amazing adaptability. The Peep toe High and the Peep toe Super High models are hand-made in Sweden with genuine natural grained leather and a lime-tree wooden sole.
Fun and flirty, the models in this collection will undoubtedly have everyone looking your way. Rounding out the spring 2011 collection there are the Braided high sandals inspired by the bohemian ’70s. Braided Sky High, on the other hand, have a rather preppy approach and are made of nubuck leather. Still, one cute model that totally caught our attention was the Strappy due to its unique colors like vintage pink, military green, blue and gray. Another feminine, elegant offering is the ’40s-inspired Striped Beach sandal.
This spring, Hasbeens also introduced some stylish shoes specially made for rainy or windy days: a loafer – clog combination! Who would have thought that this interesting mix could lead to such a great result! The new Loafer drew its inspiration from the ’70s shoes. However, the famous Swedish label added a high wooden sole for a more feminine look. The Margot is another example of sophistication and elegance, still boasting the same comfortable quality.
No one can resist to a pair of sassy, comfy ballerina flats. And the models in the Hasbeens collection are so cute, with a classic feel, simple, yet very chic. The Ballerina Hepburn and the Ballerina Perforated are available in a wide palette of colors like red, black, white, yellow, nature. For cold spring days, there are new designs in boots too. First, there are the Combat Boots, hand-made in the traditional way with genuine natural grained leather and a lime-tree wooden sole. There is also a retro-inspired model, Knee-high, available in blue-nubuck, turquoise, yellow, black, chocolate, red, nature.
