We’re pleased to announce that Swedish retail chain H&M has released its fall 2011 lookbook in which stars American top model Karlie Kloss. As usual, the famous brand meets all our expectations, staying true to its well-known fashion perspective through a simple, affordable yet extremely sophisticated collection.
Speaking about the new line for the upcoming season, H&M’s Head of Design Ann-Sofie Johansson says that, “I’m particularly fond of this collection because it’s so easy to wear, so grown up and yet totally of the moment and with such great fashion attitude. Most pieces are fashion classics updated with a new silhouette or shape or simply new styling.” And indeed the collection features some great pieces that are so suitable for easy wear still looking smart and elegant. Comfort, refinement, coziness, elegance, and simplicity seem to be the main words describing the line. Take a peek at the H&M lookbook and get ready for cold fall days.
Think camel, cream, brown, gray, burgundy, and pumpkin shades for fall 2011. Even the color palette seen at H&M fall 2011 is warm and reflects maximum comfort and effortlessness. The buttery tan camel has been a hit during the last few seasons and it seems to make a comeback for the upcoming season as well. Tap into the trend with H&M’s coats, pants, skirts, or soft cardigans, and don’t forget to add a pop of color with refreshing hues of green or orange. Patterns are also in the spotlight. There are pretty florals and bewitching paisley, but also checks and tweeds.
There is a retro, ’70s influence in the H&M fall 2011 collection. Dreamy, long silhouettes and wide-leg pants are rethought and given a modern update. Cozy chunky knits, refined blazers, stylish parkas, biker jackets, playful yet elegant ponchos, smart pants, knee-length skirts, and glamorous dresses look gorgeous in those warm, autumnal shades. Versatile and functional, but most of all accessible, the H&M collection already makes us dreaming up the countless fashionable looks we can create. The clothing giant also brings a few evening, chic outfits at convenient prices.
