Zadig & Voltaire’s fall 2013 collection was showcased at Paris Fashion Week in the brand’s debut runway show. So, for her first-ever show, creative director Cecilia Bönström prepared an array of wearable goodies having David Bowie as main source of inspiration. Effortlessly hip and chic ensembles made their way down Zadig & Voltaire’s fall catwalk where everyday slightly androgynous clothes represented the predominant trend. And we love it!
Cecilia Bönström’s latest line will have you ready for work or for a one-of-a-kind casual day in cool suits and black leather overalls. So, yes, the new Zadig & Voltaire fall 2013 collection has you covered with an array of oh-so-cool pieces! Cecilia, who is an ex-model, seems to totally understand a fashionista’s sartorial needs better than anyone.
“Once a model, always a model! I spent so many years in front of the camera working with editors I understand what makes clothing work, and what makes it not work just as much. I cannot resist trying every single piece on and looking at how it fits. I’m obsessed with fabrics, cut, the number of centimeters in an arm hole, neck hole. All these things matter so much,” the designer said in an interview with Grazia Daily.
Masculine and feminine elements are perfectly mixed in a line featuring an array of ready-to-wear pieces that guarantee to keep you both comfy and stylish throughout chilly days. Zadig & Voltaire’s fall 2013 collection is characterized by a special relaxed style oozing elegance and coolness. There were black leather hot pants, skinny suits in jacquard and red velvet, shorts worn with boyfriend blazers, jeans and black leather overalls, loose sweaters, sexy miniskirts, but also jackets and faux-fur coats. The combos were completed with edgy boots and voguish hats!
Black and gray as well as pops of red and metallics were used in order to create a super-duper range of clothes that flawlessly express the idea of cool Parisian chic. So, check out the new Zadig & Voltaire fall 2013 collection and find a riot of hip ideas for your cold-weather looks!
