Boy oh boy how excited we are every time we stumble upon new brands that are an amazing source of goodies for our wardrobes. So, we came across Twenty-Seven Names and we fell in love with the great amount of pretty things discovered in their collections. Model Goergia Fowler fronts the label’s ‘Nine Lives’ campaign and poses in these beautiful cameo framed shots by Guy Coombes.
Designers Rachel Easting and Anjali Stewart cite contemporary art as the basis for their collections. Speaking about the starting point of their summer 2012/13 line, Anjali said that, “Katherine Mansfeild’s short story The Garden Party. We wanted to explore details and shapes from that inter-war era, and the uniforms worn by the working class. Not to mention cat, cats, and, more cats.”
Okay you girls, so if you want to add a pretty, vintage touch to your styling, Twenty-Seven Names is the answer. Well, who could possibly resist to that amount of cutesy? Dresses, blouses, lovely collars, florals, polka dots, and cats. “The label was once described as having an awkward charm and I think that describes the Twenty-seven names style well. We try to design clothes that we would want to wear, so we design with simplicity and wearability in mind, whilst being heavily influenced by vintage fashion and detailing,” Stewart said in the same interview with alwayssometimesanytime.com.
