New York is buzzing as the Fall 2013 Fashion Week opened its doors to reveal the latest designer creations. The Tadashi Shoji fall 2013 collection helped make the opening of the event a true delight.
The Tadashi Shoji fall 2013 collection unveiled at the
New York Fashion Week made clear from the beginning that one of the
best sources of inspiration when it comes to fashion is culture.
For this particular collection, Russia was the muse that helped the
designer contour his ideas and then delicately transpose his vision
of style into garments that looked chic, classic yet modern but
most importantly, feminine.
Tadashi Shoji is know for the constant soft and clean-chic approach
to fashion and it seems that for the new season the designer did
not feel the need to change his trademark style. Is this a bad
thing? Definitely not, as why change something that has a timeless
chicness and that sports a high dose of wearability and elegance
that always swept fashionistas off their feet?!
The focus of the Tadashi Shoji fall 2013 collection this
upcoming season: dresses! They dominated the brand’s new
ready-to-wear collection presented during the first day of New York Fashion Week fall 2013.
The designer chose a variety of patterns and fabrics with which to
shape his designs over and this means that you ladies will have
plenty of styles to play with. From chic and casual high neck
dresses featuring cute side pockets to lovely flapper-girl inspired
dresses, A-line midis and floor-length gowns.
The Tadashi Shoji fall 2013 collection included every dress
shape you could dream of rocking this fall and the fabulous colors
and fabrics which included exquisite lace and luxurious velvet,
only helped emphasize the elegance and vintage yet contemporary
chicness of the collection.
The details that projected a distinct feel were the bouffant
sleeves and the intricate prints used to amp-up sophistication, a
combo that we just can’t resist but applause, so if you’re looking
for designs that will give you a certain Russian-czarina allure,
this is definitely a collection to take into consideration as from
start to finish the designs looked impeccable!
