The Rita Ora for Material Girl fall 2013 campaign is finally out. Ever since we’ve learned that Rita Ora is the new brand ambassador and that she replaced Georgia May Jagger from the same role, we’ve wondered how the new ads will turn out and now we finally know. The star looks absolutely stunning in the label’s creations. She tackles a modern allure with many rock chic accents and feels completely in her element.
The 22-year-old signer was very proud of how things turned out as she announced the news that her Material Girl fall 2013 campaign is out: “First look at my @MaterialGirl campaign. Follow @MaterialGirl to see all the ads. #yeahhhh #herewego wooohoooo @madonna :)”. The same enthusiasm was noticeable when she first confirmed the news:“Joining forces with Madonna and Lola!” she posted at the time. “It’s official Ritabots – I’m the new face of Material Girl!,”she stated back then. She also emphasized the fact that she identifies with the label: “Material Girl means fashion, it means confidence. It means belief, inspiration and the freedom to really express yourself. I don’t think Material girl follows trends…we make trends.” Rumors say she signed a $760,000 contract, so the enthusiasm is definitely understandable.
An attention magnet, the star definitely lived up to Madonna and her daughter Lulu’s expectations: “Rita is a talented beauty but what really drew us to her is the confidence she oozes through her music and her unique sense of style. On stage or off, in photos or in the street – she’s a magnet! This is what the Material Girl brand is all about.” The theme of the new Material Girl ad campaign is ‘Material Girl Hits London.’ Rita was photographed in many iconic locations: Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the London Eye and on top of a double decker bus.
The new Rita Ora for Material Girl fall 2013 ad campaign definitely manages to reflect the rock chic vibes spotted on some of the most important runways in a cool, youthful manner. The fun, youthful flair makes the new season Material Girl apparel stand out. The new line will be available for sale exclusively at US department store Macy’s.
