Vibrant prints, surprising textures and cool layering with hipster and hippie surf influences sum up the latest Richard Chai Spring/Summer 2012 collection presented on the first day of New York Fashion Week. Chai presents his new approach to streetwear combining women's and men's fashion together for the first time.
On the first day of the much anticipated New York Fashion Week, Richard Chai presented
women's and men's fashion together for the first time. The Richard
Chai Spring/Summer 2012 collection strongly focuses on urban casual
style with the contemporary hipster quirkiness and hippie surf
touches.
The line features a variety of surprising prints and textures with
a splash of vibrant colors. Putting his experience to good use at
some of the world's biggest fashion houses – Lanvin, Armani
Exchange, Donna Karan or Marc Jacobs – Richard Chai's Spring 2012 collection earns
a well deserved spot in the thriving New York fashion scene. Bold
and bright makeup rounded out the models'
runway looks, from vivid purple lips to tangerine eye makeup.
