It is always interesting to see how style trends divide between several geographic areas. From the New York Fashion Week where sensuality and elegance ruled to the London Fashion Week where masculine touches and more toned down looks brought diversity and a touch of originality, we were able to see a myriad of helpful original style perspectives that can inspire women from all walks of life.
Miuccia Prada’s perspective for Spring/Summer 2012 has a lot to do with women and cars. In fact, she even named her show “Women and Car Engines” in order to give viewers a better perspective on the main style notes presented. Femininity and sweetness are translated into a myriad of feminine outfits with subtle retro touches presented at Milan Fashion Week.
Among the must haves for the upcoming months Prada suggests pleated knee length skirts as a way to create a classy and girly look the easy way. An alternative noteworthy style trend is the high waist fitted leather skirt. Bandeau top, swimsuits or shiny long coats with subtle rhinestones were some of the best highlights of the collection. Pastel tones are seen as a simple and elegant alternative for those who reject over the top color combining as a way to attract attention.
