Valentino Fall 2014

If for the Valentino spring 2014 couture line, Italian Opera proved the right starting point, this time it was Italian pop art from the ’60 and ’70s that helped the creative duo come up with wonderful ethereal creations with an innocent vibe. The show started on a cheerful note with several looks featuring colorful dots in cool combinations of pink, red, black and white. As the show progressed, the label’s signature ethereal capes and floor-length gowns featuring lavish embroideries, romantic floral prints and chic butterfly motifs made their way down the catwalk.
