You can find a riot of key pieces to update your styling. Speaking about creating prints, the Irish designer told Grazia Daily that, "Yes, creating something new is always enjoyable. I must say though, some designs are instant – very quickly you know it’s going to work and that’s great. Then other ones you really have to spend a long time going back to it and working on it and that’s tough."
So, Orla Kiely's fall/winter 2012 collection is a total keeper.
Well, what's not to love in this super-adorable line? When it comes
to the famous designer's choice for the season ahead, she suggests
going for a colour like mustard! So, if you're searching for
something transitional to move you towards autumn, mustard is a
great way to add colour to your wardrobe. And for the moment
temperatures start to drop, don't forget the Wool Pique coat! Oh,
and remember to accessorize!
Revealing her background, Orla Kiely said in an exclusive interview with Grazia Daily that, "Well – it was a mixture of things. After training at the Royal College of Art, there was a point I was hand-making various things, both hats and bags. Then when my father was with me at London Fashion Week that year, he - now famously - pointed out to me, 'It seems like everyone here has a handbag, but hardly anyone is wearing a hat' ha ha! So we came up with a specific type of bag that we were really happy with. Then we got a factory to make them and went from there."
