This trench set the tone for what was about to come and apparently people were not disappointed as the designed that followed brought lovely leather jackets and more lovely trenches, cute midis and chic separates to the catwalk.
Now, the shoes and some of the dresses created by L’Wren Scott for her fall 2013 collection unveiled at London Fashion Week displayed 23 karat gold leaf details that underlined the glamor, opulent side of the lineup. ‘I’m gold-obsessed because there’s gold all over the world and it’s the most valuable thing at the moment’, said the designer in an interview with WWD and she definitely wasn’t shy to put her obsession front-and-center in her collection as this was a color that predominated and that made a sizzling impact on the audience!
