Stunning Gisele Bündchen is the new face of Esprit Fall/Winter 2011 campaign called “Iconic Styles”. According to a press release, Gisele was chosen because she “embodies easy elegance, charisma and naturalness and is therefore perfectly suited to the Californian spirit of the brand”. And indeed who could embody the label’s iconic outfits better than Gisele?
Throughout time, the 31-year-old supermodel proved that she’s not just another pretty face with a flawless body, but that she’s also a classy and smart woman. Besides, in May 2011, Forbes ranked gorgeous Gisele, for the fifth consecutive time, the world’s highest-paid supermodel, and she ranked 3rd on The 20 Youngest Power Women of 2011 List.
For the brand’s fall/winter 2011 campaign, Gisele was photographed by David Sims and styled by French fashion stylist Camille Bidault Waddington. The former Victoria’s Secret Angel goes effortlessly chic wearing natural looks, tousled hair and fresh-looking makeup. Cool leather, aviator jackets, stylish camel coats, skirts, shirts, tees are some of the pieces included in a collection that can be adapted to three main styles: casual, business and glamour.
Esprit is known for the smart, affordable luxury and youthful style it offers, whether we’re talking about comfy casual outfits or dressier apparel. For the latest collection it seems that the brand wanted to go back to its roots with lots of fundamental pieces that represent the basis of every woman’s wardrobe. In fact, of the modern, self-confident and mature woman who’s not afraid to stay true to her feelings, John Gunn, continental president of Esprit North America said that, “Our target consumer is now a woman who is forever 30.”
So fresh and natural yet elegant and chic. Timeless old faithfuls that become must-haves regardless any fashion trend. Sporting a camel coat from the Esprit Collection, a jacket from Women Casual and an aviator leather jacket from de.corp Collection, Gisele proves once again that simplicity never goes out of style and that clean lines are extremely elegant both for daytime and more special looks.
For the Esprit fall/winter 2011 collection, Esprit flawlessly mixes classic pieces yet giving them a modern twist. English photographer David Sims focuses on jackets and coats, therefore revealing some of the on-trend essentials we should invest in for the upcoming season.
