He’s also worked for Dolce & Gabanna and Diesel, along with Zara. His latest cover was the May/June 2013 Essential Homme and he’s also modeled on the runway for Elie Tahari and Nautica.
Jon Kortajarena – $290,000
Representer by IMG, the 28 year old model was born in Spain and had been featured on the cover of Marie Claire Spain in November 2012. He’s at the lower end of the list of best paid models in 2013, but resume includes ad campaigns for Bulgari, Carolina Herrera and Kenneth Cole. He’s also been featured in Karl Lagerfeld ads and has modeled for H&M, Mavi Jeans and Hudson Jeans.
Ollie Edwards – $410,000
The 32 year old British model is easily recognized from his Ralph Lauren campaigns, including eyewear and Blue and Purple Label. Represented by VNY Model Management, he’s been featured in campaigns for DKNY Jeans, Sarar, Brioni and Hackett. He’s also modeled for Windsor and Neiman Marcus and was the face of the Guerlain Habit Rouge Fragrance.
Tyson Ballou – $425,000
Featured on the cover of Details in September 2013 and March 2014, Tyson Ballou is one of the best paid male models in 2013, thanks to campaigns for H&M, Banana Republic, Salvatore Ferragamo and Sisley. His portfolio also includes modeling for Calvin Klein, Jill Sander, Dior and Dolce & Gabbana.
Ryan Burns – $610,000
Represented by Ford Models, Ryan Burns earned a lot more than models with multiple contracts thanks to his exclusive deal with Ermenegildo Zegna. He was also featured in campaigns from Hugo Boss and H&M to Banana Republic and Massimo Dutti.
Noah Mills – $740,000
Featured in the Dolce & Gabbana S&S 2014 ad campaign, Noah Mills is one of the best paid male models in 2013 thanks to contracts with Esprit, Carlo Pazolini and Beymen. His portfolio also include major brands like Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfiger and Versace, along with multiple international GQ Style and Men’s Health magazine covers.
Arthur Kulkov – $905,000
Represented by Re:Quest Model Management, 30 year old Russian model Arthur Kulkov has been most recently featured in campaign for Tommy Hilfiger and Banana Republic. He’s also worked represented Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, Gas Jeans and H&M. Kulkov was featured on the covers of magazines like Details, Manifesto, Chaos and even the 2010 GQ Style Manual.
Simon Nessman – $1.1 million
The first of the three best paid male models in 2013 who made more than a million dollars, Simon Nessman has long time collaborations with Michael Kors and Giorgio Armani. The Canadian model has been featured on the cover of L’Officiel Hommes China twice and has worked for Versace, Calvin Klein and H&M. He is represented by Soul Artist Managements.
David Gandy – $1.4 million
The British model started out in 2001, but his breakout year was 2005. He was featured in ads for Massimo Dutti, Marks & Spencer and Dolce & Gabbana, but has also earned more than other models after being named brand ambassador for Johnnie Walker Blue. Gandy also writes for GQ and British Vogue.
Sean O’Pry – $1.5 million
At the top of the list of best paid male models in 2013, Sean O’Pry is the highest-earning male model thanks to his work for H&M, Armani Exchange, Cartier, Viktor & Rolf and many more, including Hermès. Represented worldwide by VNY Model Management, the 24 year old Georgia native was also seen in the music video for Madonna’s “Girl Gone Wild”.
