Designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka opted for Mayan and Aztec details for their Badgley Mischka pre-fall 2013 collection. Check out the result of their hard work for the new season!
The Mayan calender prediction craze seems to have sparked ideas
in the minds of Mark Badgley and James Mischka as their Badgley
Mischka pre-fall 2013 collection displays heavy Aztec and
Mayan inspired details which gave the collection a totally unique
vibe, bound to make heads turn. It seems that the designer duo
didn't have anything on their mind for doomsday other than glamor
as the brand's new pre-fall 2013 collection is packed with glam
details that create a visual spectacle people will have a hard time
resisting!
Mark Badgley told Style.com regarding their Mayan themed collection
that "for us, we're looking at this not as the end, but as a new
beginning", and the new approach to style proves they mean
business!
However, the glam accent wasn't shoved to the front of the stage
from the collection's debut as the designers chose to display a
high variety of styles, variety which is a must when it comes to
fashion, by mixing elements and by juggling with both classic and
sophisticated lines. The result: a lovely balance that covers a
wide age range, so women can find the perfect high-end garment to
suit their style.
The Badgley Mischka pre-fall 2013 collection made its debut with a
quite classic approach to fashion, which raised a few eyebrows as
some of the pieces look a bit too classic, however the designers
spiced things up gradually to a point where glitzy-glam
embellishments adorned the dresses top to bottom.
The dress has been crowned the queen of the show at Badgley Mischka
as in most fashion shows, so be prepared to witness a wonderful
display of classic cut Little Black Dresses as well as some amazing
floor length gowns that have a high dose of glamor and femininity
attached through the use of embellishments. Two peplum dress
designs and a red sari inspired dress fall out of the pattern only
to make the collection even more interesting, so check out the
wonderful display of glamor and pick the designs that would fit
perfectly in your new season wardrobe!
