countries as well as the BBC’s daytime radio. Indeed the delicate
content of the video that lines up a multitude of scenes in which
the young diva and other characters are portrayed in different
postures would lead to Rihanna’s ‘S&M’ video banned in 11
countries. The inappropriate content of the music video shows
Rihanna dressed in pink latex and whipping her co-actors.
As the suggestive title reveals, this is no ordinary video and it is meant to break out a real debate bringing huge popularity to Rihanna. Following the footsteps of Lady Gaga, she managed to go from the real good girl to a naughty one who’s eager to keep fans on their toes and to come up with smashing ideas to boost her reputation as a real music chameleon.
The spokesperson of BBC claimed that: “We are waiting for an edited version before deciding whether it will be played in the daytime.” Indeed the lyrics as “Cause I maybe be bad, but I’m perfectly good at it/ Sex in the air, I don’t care, I love the smell of it/ Sticks and stones may break my bones, but chains and whips excite me.”

Authorities and various media sources are waiting for the re-edit of the video and Rihanna was also eager to state her opinion about this phenomenon of rejection by Youtube and BBC. She states that: “U can now view the S&M video on Rihannanow.com UNFLAGGED!!!” Also tweeting, “They watched Umbrella … I was full nude.”
