Taylor Swift’s representative confirmed donating $250,000 to fellow pop star Kesha, who is in a midst of a nasty legal battle. Taylor joins other celebs like Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato, Lorde or Kelly Clarkson in publicly supporting Kesha after the judge denied her bid to get out of her contract with Sony Music and Lukasz Gottwald, better known as Dr. Luke.

Kesha has been engaged in legal battle with Dr. Luke since 2014, whom she sued for sexual assault and battery. The megaproducer, who has worked with huge names from the industry like Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry, filled a countersuit denying the allegations and accused Kesha of fabricating the charges to get out of her contract with Sony Music.
