Kim Kardashian
lands on the cover of InStyle Australia November 2011.
In the interview with the magazine, the 30-year-old reality star,
who married 26-year-old professional basketball player, Kris
Humphries, in August, dishes on her wedding and the decision to
film it.
"That was a really big discussion. We took weeks to decide if we
were going to film it or not, but I felt like my fans — everyone
that has gone on this journey with me, seeing different
relationships that I've been in — would feel cheated if I didn't
film it. It was something that Kris and I were okay with, and the
beauty of it is we get to edit it. It [will be] great to look back
at that and see this time in our lives," Kim confessed.
Kim also says that she had the chance to see all her guests at the
wedding. "As crazy as it looked, it still felt intimate. There were
a few people that I wish I got to spend more time with, but we
definitely made time to see everyone. And I think that's important,
to still have that intimate feeling," she told InStyle.
On how she knew that Kris was The One, Kim told the magazine
that, "There was just this calm feeling; I trusted him a hundred
per cent. And I think that is really rare. I have a lot of fun with
him. It's a feeling that's different to what I had felt
before."
The beautiful reality star says that making time for the
relationship might be quite complicated yet they will make it work.
"It's tricky. We're together now, and wherever he signs his next
contract, I'll be there with him. We're going to have a rule that
we don't let too much time go by with work commitments, that we
don't see each other. We'll just make it work," Kim says.
When 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' first aired in 2007, it was
rather impossible to believe that this show will manage to deliver
fame and fortune not just to Kim but to her entire family. On how
Keeping Up affected their lives, Kim says that, "You usually see
reality shows where the family tears [each other] apart. For us,
it’s brought us closer together. When we’re filming, we’re all in
the same city at the same time — which is rare, because we’re all
traveling so much — so it forces us to stay together more."
Kim admits that she is a workaholic saying that, "I love to be busy
all the time. I love hearing what the people out there — fans,
everyone — are into, and finding a way to give them whatever
they’re looking for, whether it’s fashion or my perfumes. I take
everything I love, figure out a way to make something unique, and
put it out there."
