Jessica Simpson flaunts her post baby body on the cover of Redbook Magazine and she looks absolutely divine. The woman that seems to have it all – doll-like features, a heavenly voice, long blonde hair, two kids, a hottie fiance and a fashion empire – has just added a fab silhouette to the list. The singer/business woman has brushed off any mean comments regarding her weight gain during both of her pregnancies and it seems that this made women love her even more. Many women tend to crack under the pressure put on them to snap back into shape after giving birth and turn towards extreme dieting and exercising plans, but not Jessica.

The mother of two decided to make the best of her pregnancy and get back in shape on her own terms. She told Redbook in an interview that: “I never listen to it, no matter who the press talks about when they’re pregnant. It’s ridiculous and unfair. I think any woman who is pregnant and creating a life is pretty much entitled to eat whatever she wants as long as she’s healthy. I wasn’t going to let the media take away from what was one of the happiest times in my life.”

Although she’s now praised for looking divine, she’s been attacked for her weight ever since she was spotted wearing those infamous high waisted jeans while performing. On the subject, Jessica said that she was stunned as she was actually slimmer that she currently is.

“What’s so unbelievable is that I was probably at least 15 pounds smaller than I am right now. What’s more unbelievable is that the press could create something so crazy out of a pair of jeans. What woman wants to be brought down for that?”

Through all of the weight fluctuations her fiance, Eric Johnson, stood by and supported her, which is probably a contributing factor to Jessica’s enviable post baby body. The two have two beautiful children – a baby girl and a boy – and will soon tie the knot. As far as how she’ll manage to maintain her relationship on the right track, Jessica stated that:

“I’ve learned that sometimes love is not enough. You can have a soul mate and be madly in love with that person, but it’s not necessarily enough. I think you have to have personalities that mesh well. You have to be the yin to their yang. You also have to be open to figuring things out together and communicating— even when it’s the last thing you want to do. I have to admit, it doesn’t hurt that Eric is one of the hottest men I’ve ever seen—and he looks amazing naked!”
