No doubt Melody Ehsani is the jewelry creator to keep an eye on for the upcoming decades. Celebs pay their tribute to the prophetic accessory designer by popularizing her earrings, necklaces and bracelets at special red carpet events. Rihanna, Beyonce and the ultra-provocative pop diva Nicki Minaj love to funk up their looks with colorful and attention-grabbing Melody Ehsani accessory designs.
This time the amazing designer joined forces with another famous nail accessory expert company, the NCLA. The Melody Ehsani x NCLA nail art collab lines up a great variety of colorful nail wraps. The fab collaboration is marked by the contribution of the accessory designer with numerous tribal, ethnic and Egyptian elements.
Melody told MTV Style that she is fond of Japanese nail art and that, “I actually never go to nails blogs or anything like that. I have some really good friends that moved out here from Japan like 8 years ago. They’re the ones that do my nails. In Japanese culture, nail art is HUGE. They do all kinds of craziness, like 3D art—I’m sure you’re familiar.
It’s been my routine every two weeks—I literally go, and they have new magazines for me. They know. [laughs] It’s the one thing I always do that makes me feel better about myself. I can literally show up to a party in sweats, but if I have my nails done and good accessories and a good pair of heels, I’m good.” The jewelrymaker’s collections all illustrate her love affair with bold and bright hues as well as tribal elements.
The interview done by MTV Styles also reveal that music had a great impact on the creative process which resulted in this amazing nail wrap collection. Melody said that, “I design really well to Lauryn Hill. All her stuff is so inspiring to me. During this time I was also listening to Frank Ocean. Those were the main two I had on heavy rotation while designing the nails.” Similar creative beauty projects will definitely leave beauty kittens breathless. Don’t let monotony ruin your look! Get out there and show off your brand new and sizzling manicure using these mind-blowing nail wraps. Follow the instructions carefully to apply these nail accessories with great care and precision.
The collection will be available at NCLA starting March 1, 2012.
