Freshman at university advice ? :)

I just started university this month and I'm finding it kinda hard for me to transition from the highschool life to university . First off I couldn't afford residence so I have to bus there for an hour and a half or 2 hoursdepending. Thats okay but my first mistake was not having the Microsoft word program and everything is pretty much is on the computer so I missed out on some important info like 2 tests so I completely did them without proper studying. I have the program now so I'm able to keep up with work but those first 2 weeks really were confusing for me. I need advice in how to manage time better like how did you guys balance work, study , and your social /free lifeand time ?? ohh and another thing I have a lot of free time on one of my days and I don't really know anyone so for some time I go to the library but then theres an hours where usually the library is packed so I don't really know where to go so I usually just float from place to place so howtokilltime? Theres just waay too much things that are soo new to me and I dunno I'm an overthinker and like to have some control but right now I kinda feel lost . so any help or advice would be awesome :)

Hi there. I'm a freshman at uni too so it's really not my place to be giving a lot of advice. But don't worry. Lots of people are confused during the first few weeks. I know I was when classes first started. The good news is that part's over. It would be great if you knew someone doing the same course as you, it really helps. You'll make plenty of friends, so don't worry, smile and be yourself :D Just make sure you're never late for classes. My profs hate that and we've all been given a warning. Something I learnt from my uni. If you ever need someone to talk to, just leave me a msg :D I'm really friendly. I hope you find uni life exciting and rewarding. All the best in your course and I hope you'll get settled in. Ray xxx
