Nowadays, stress has become a very powerful enemy. It’s everywhere! A very small word and a very big concept. Before we give some advice on dealing with stress, let’s clarify what we’re talking about.
Experts say that stress is the body’s general response to any demand made on it, regardless of whether that demand is pleasant or unpleasant, or whether it is emotional or physical.
External and internal pressure – all pull the trigger inside our minds, but it’s not that difficult to defeat it.
Here is some advice to deal with it:
Be happy – you have to be sure you please yourself as much as you can. Do something you really like as often as you can!
Laugh it or talk it out– laughing is a great way of dealing with any problem, including stress, as long as you’re capable of.
Laughing increases the oxygen supply to the lungs, stimulates the production of endorphins and can produce a feeling of euphoria. And remember to discuss your problems with someone, it’s pure therapy!
Think positive– a good attitude worth millions, someone said. Instead of rejecting something from the beginning, try to see what happens if you look at it from a different angle.
Work in out– A study at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, shows that 20 to 30 minutes of aerobic exercises that raises your heart rate to about 120 beats per minute at least three times a week can lower depression and anxiety within 12 weeks.
So try some stretching exercises – they sure work! Every problem has its solution, no doubt! You can cope with stress and manage it correctly, without being broken down!
