Rihanna announced the launch of a new fragrance, Rogue. The Rogue by Rihanna fragrance is the star’s fourth perfume after Nude, Rebelle and Reb’l Fleur and aims to be a reflection of what she is today. The new scent might be launched at the beginning of September only, however the ad campaign for it was already prepared.
The star chose a sultry yet more refined image to promote the new scent. In the ad picture she wears a simple slip dress and rocks her signature half-shaved ‘do styled by Yusef Williams. The black and white photo, photographed by Mario Sorrenti and styled by Mel Ottenberg definitely helps capture a bit of the star’s ever-evolving nature. The sense of classiness mixed with edginess that defines the photos is also reflected in the new scent. “People are always changing and evolving and with Rogue I wanted to switch it up to reflect who I am today. I made it for all women, for every mood, because we all want to project our true selves,” the diva explained. The new scent is described as being “flirty, sensual Oriental”.
Though we can all see the flirty part of the equation, the edgy vibes are reflected more subtly in the bottle’s design, which features inverted spikes at the bottom. The Rogue by Rihanna perfume combines notes of lemon blossom, cyclamen, jasmine, rose, plum and suede with base notes of patchouli, vanilla and amber. The new scent, which will be sold at Macy’s, Dillard’s and Belk and will come in different versions with various price ranges from $18 for a roller ball to $69 for a 4.2-oz. bottle.

According to WWD, the launch of the new Rihanna Rogue Perfume also includes a stingray clutch, a stingray leather zip-around bag and studded fashion bracelets for an added edgy vibe.
