Guerlain comes with a new version of the already known Idylle Eau de Parfum, in a eau de toilette with a richer floral bouquet. The new “Idylle Eau de Toilette” has as a center note the Bulgarian rose (also known as Rosa Damascena), surrounded by lily of the valley, white lilac, peony and jasmine. In fact, the rose has been the favorite flower of Guerlain perfumers since 1828. Besides these notes, one can feel a light touch of green and musk, cypress and ylang-ylang. This amazing floral fragrance can be bought in a golden drop bottle, just like the original one, created by Thierry Wasser.
“Parlez-moi d’amour” by John Galliano
“Parlez-moi d’amour” is John Galliano’s latest fragrance. Its composition opens with fresh ginger, blueberries and bergamot. The heart of the perfume is a true olfactory reflection of love, made from Sambac jasmine and Turkish rose, while the base features woody notes of cypress, Indonesian patchouli and musk notes. The face of ”Parlez-moi d’amour” is Taylor Momsen who tells the story of a rock star who, after many gigs and concerts, finds herself stranded in Berlin. With no internet access loosing contact with everyone, she writes her feelings on a piece of paper writing a letter to a guy she’s in love with. The story of a sweet, feminine and musky perfume.
“Womanity” by Thierry Mugler
Thierry Mugler’s perfumes seem to follow the rule “love it or hate it”. At least this is what happened to the extremely famous “Angel”. This season we have “Womanity”, a word created to connect femininity, humanity and city, a symbol of feminine power, a way for women to connect. In the composition of this perfume one can feel a diversity of scents and the contrast between the sweet and salty. A juicy, sweet fig note and the subtle, salty caviar note are perfectly completed by a wooden accord. “Womanity” comes in a pink bottle with ring on top of the it, which is decorated with metal frieze with a symbolic design. It seems that the frieze encapsulates and depicts women of all generations.
“Love, Chloé” by Chloé
“Love, Chloé” is the new fragrance for women by Chloé, “a celebration of radiant, generous, spontaneous femininity”. With notes including orange blossom, pink pepper, iris absolute, lilac, hyacinth, wisteria blossom, heliotropine, powdery musks, talc and rice powder, “Love, Chloé” embodies light and sensual elements into a scent that softens the skin. The bottle has this classic design with a soft combination of pink and golden metallic tones and a chain tying the cap to the bottle. Supermodel Raquel Zimmermann is the face of the new perfume in an ad made by Roman Coppola.
