Almost every girl and woman has cellulite, that is usually located in the thighs, buttocks and stomach. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been found a cure that could treat cellulite completely, and since our standards have considerably increased and perfection is a must in almost every area of our lives, women found their own tricks or strategies to camouflage the unattractive dimples caused by cellulite.

How to hide cellulite?

Cellulite is much more visible on a fair skin than on a darker one. Apply a self-tanning lotion or spray so you camouflage the undesirable “orange peel” look. But do this only after a body scrub that will help you remove death cells and impurities.

Do this only once a week and apply the product gradually so you get a darker skin. Self-tanning products will disguise cellulite by darkening your skin and creating less pronounced dimple shadows from the cellulite bumps.

If you decide to change your skin color by suntanning, you should use, every night, a bit of self-tanning cream in order to cover swimsuit marks. You should also apply an after-sun lotion so your tanning will be more emphasized.

Apply a shiny oil on the front part of your legs. It will reflect the light and create the impression of a smooth skin.

When your skin is dehydrated, the appearance of cellulite is more pronounced. In order to prevent skin dehydration, use moisturizers on the skin, regularly.

If you tried everything, and still feeling uncomfortable wear a wrap over the swimsuit, which will help you hide cellulite bumps.

How to get rid of cellulite?

All products that fight cellulite and stretch marks have better results if you follow an intensive program that must include massage and sport.

Melanin is responsible for the caramel color of the skin and it has the role to diminish the penetration of UVB and UVA rays. But, even though this pigment is a natural filter, this is not enough. Even if you have a darker skin, use a sunscreen with SPF.

Not only the value of the SPF is important, but the rest of the ingredients in the cream are too. If a SPF 15 product has in its composition vitamins such as C and E, this cream can be equivalent to a SPF 30 that doesn’t have other active ingredients. This is because vitamins help the skin to create antioxidant enzymes which provide an important defense against free radicals.

Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant and helps heal wounds, as well as producing collagen and elastin for firm skin and blood vessels. Vitamin E functions as an antioxidant and slows the aging process by fighting free radical damage in cellular structures.

In order to render a beautiful color to your skin, eat red and orange fruits and vegetables, such as tomatoes, carrots, paprika or seaweed.

If you apply correctly a SPF sunscreen, you should finish a 100 gr tube in 4 applications.

Commonly, SPF products have their expiration date one year after you open them, but kept under the sun they deteriorate quicker.
