Best eyelash curler for someone with small eyes?

Let me elaborate.

I don't mean I want an eyelash curler that makes my eyes look larger. I just want one that is small enough that is actually fits in my eye area!

I'm kind a small person, so anytime I use a normal curler, it's so wide It doesn't fit in my eye orbital. My eyes are kinda set deep too, so it's like trying to jam the curler between my nose and that bone that's just outside the corner of my eye.

Having a normal sized curler makes curling my lashes very difficult and uncomfortable.
It doesn't help that I'm fully grown, and am between adult and kids sizes for just about everything. For instance, I have to wear kid's glasses a lot times because the selection for adult sizes is often to small at most eye clinics.

As you can see, using a curler for me, is like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole! I was also considering getting a Japanese curler, because they might be smaller or designed differently. Any reccomendations?

Way to repair metal costume jewelry?

I have this green necklace that has a broken metal loop in a place where I can't just replace the loop. It's actually part of a big decorative section and the loop just snapped off.
This necklace was my signature piece :(

Doesn't anyone know how to fix this? I've tried special super glue for costume jewerly but it didn't work. Would a jeweler even bother with this?
I can't find another necklace like this.

How Do I break the Style network mold?

I didn't always start off knowing anything about style. I remember when we finally got style network on our cable plan. But anymore, everything just seems to look the same, like all their version of style comes from shows like How Do I Look? or What Not to Wear. Not to mention I see the same thing repeated in the stores now because tv and the outlets seem to now be in sync!

I haven't been messing with my wardrobe recently, but I was hoping to go in a more artsy direction, without looking like I've gone over board (a.k.a. jacket decorated with safety pins, stapled pants, ripped up shirts)

Does anyone have any advice on how to look stylish, but not look like these dumbed down cookie cutter outfits they seem to put on tv?
Something different than what they are suggesting mainstream would be nice. I just feel like I'm surrounded by clones anymore.

Question: how can i make my boobs bigger??? (by salt_and_pepper)
Rinji_HalfElf's answer: You could invest in a water bra, It will make it look a little bigger, and has a natural look.

Other than that, surgery, or gaining some weight might help. But weight gain usually only works if you're really thin, and it also depending on genetics. You might want to look at other female family members built like you, and see if their fill out up top when they are heavier. If they gain it all on their hips and legs, and not on top, then forget gaining weight. You are probably stuck with a small cup size.

Meanwhile, you can always wear dark of neutral colored skirts or pants, and wear a shirt with nice detailing on top to emphasis your bust. Wearing the dark bottoms should balance you out.

Another option is to go on the pill if you haven't already.
Sometimes it will increase breast size, but just going on it for increased bust size isn't that great of a reason...

Question: i want a nose peircing badly, but don't know how to convince the rents. help? (by sillynilly0070)
Rinji_HalfElf's answer: You're going to have to wear it in school at least for some period of time. You can't take it out after it's been in there for several weeks. Otherwise the hole will close up.

Sounds like you are giving me a sample of what you have told you mom. What did she say?

Did you ever think that it's not only your reputation but hers that could be on the on the line?
People might see you have the nose ring and think your mom is a bad parent. Or assume you're out of control, and won't offer your mom any help in the future.
It could also attract pedofiles after you. If I were one, I could see the nose ring as a sign that you take risks, or no one cares about you. Or the someone could see it as a signal that you're an easy target and kidnap you.
For young people, it's a symbol of expression, but don't forget that older people, it could be a completely different meaning.

Sounds gross, but that's how the world works. There's stereo types for a reason. Because a lot of times there's some truth in there.

Besides, right now isn't the time to worry about a nose ring.
In a few years you'll be getting your first job.
The way things are now, jobs are cutting back on "freedom of expression" types of things.
For instance, my job used to allow people tattoos, and facial piercings. As soon as the economy took a hit they changed their policy.
Now you can't have tattoos, men no longer can wear earrings, women only can wear one set of earrings that can't dangle of certain colors. No facial piercings of any kind.

They do this because a lot of trashy and lazy people have the same things. And the employer use it as a way to not hire them. Though, if the employer knew you're of a good moral character they usually let it slide. But more likely, you aren't going to know the people hiring, and they aren't going to know you.

I'd wait on it. What's more important now? A nose ring, or getting a job later so can put gas in your car and go to the mall when you're 16?
I'd much rather have a job and a car than be sitting at home with no money, a nose ring, and a bicycle to get around.

Just a heads up, that times are changing. We're still not sure what's going to happen.

Besides, why do you need one?

Question: How do I go vegetarian? (by Serasin)
Rinji_HalfElf's answer: Just whatever you do, don't become a junk vegetarian, where you subsist on prepackage junk foods. I know girls like this at college, and not only are they over weight, but they are unhealthy.

The important thing is to make sure you eat a bunch of different types of foods each day, and probably learn how to cook.
The Japanese for instance, have a varied diet. They counted all the different types of food people ate in a study. On average, the older women would eat up to 72 different foods a week. That's about 10 different foods a day, without consuming the same thing with in the following week.

Most stores will have deli items you can get, but here in the mid west, you'll find that the choices are rather limited. It's all the same thing, just presented or cooked differently. Seems like people here are scared to try any new fruits or vegetables that become available in the produce section.

If you want to learn some good vegetarian dishes, looking to ethnic foods for inspiration is a good idea.
On of my favorite vegetarian dishes is Hummus.

Question: What do you all think of kids wearing their pants baggy that is shows the underwear? (by Angitia41)
Rinji_HalfElf's answer: I know at times it boarders indecent exposure. But there's the bonus that they may trip on them when they run awya from the police. And police can identify hoodlums better.

If a person is wearing their pants down low and isn't a hoodlum, they deserve the extra surveillance for being a poser.

Question: Would you rather have a brand new car or a trip to Europe? (by angelitah)
Rinji_HalfElf's answer: I have family that are mechanics. If I need a car, there's always a way for me to find one.

Europe on the other hand.... I'll probably never get to see. And it isn't getting any cheaper to visit either. I'd go for Europe.

Question: Do you prefer gold or silver Jewelery (by Angitia41)
Rinji_HalfElf's answer: I used to hate gold. But now I actually like it better than silver tones. It complements my skin tone better anyway. I just take it in small doses. Moderation is key. :P
Question: Would you have a tummy tuck if it was offered to you? (by Angitia41)
Rinji_HalfElf's answer: Nope.

Why risk the complications when I could just lose 10 pounds?

Question: Whats the best under eye concealer? (by mizkatie)
Rinji_HalfElf's answer: I have had good luck with Neutrogena's Skin soothing undereye corrector.

It's thinner than most concealers and doesn't cake up on thin under eye skin like a normal concealer would, making it very stealthy.
It can be a little bit runny at times, so brush on a small amount and let it sit there for several seconds before blending it it so it won't disappear when you blend.
I use it for small acne touchups too and it doesn't show up as badly as some concealer. It seems to be more moisturizing than some of the stuff I have used before.

Of course it always depends on how your skin reacts to certain products. I can't use any of the other Neutrogena makeup lines because it dries my skin out.

Question: Is getting married in fashion? I'd like to get married asap, but I heard a rumor it wasn't in anymore (by Norma)
Rinji_HalfElf's answer: A real fashionista does things that work for 'her' and follows the beat of her own drum.
Otherwise you're just copying people who were original and came up with an idea before you.

Whatever happened to the passion for originality in fashion? I just see a bunch of copy cats anymore.
Don't let them rule you and tell you what is in and out. They just do that to make money off of you anyway.

Also, have you ever thought that if you asked a future prospective partner if they wanted to get married on the basis of it being in or out of fashion, that maybe they would be put off to get married to you?
Good luck finding a man with a interest in fashion so much that will base whether or not he marries upon it.

Question: Area of body gets itchy and gets hot and bumps form and looks sick and it boders a lot (by Jabba)
Rinji_HalfElf's answer: Using water that's too hot when you shower can dry skin out. Especially in the winter.

I had dry skin and bumps develop on my elbows because the facial cleanser I was using was too harsh, and ran down to my elbows when I washed.

Depending on the area of the body, you might be able to find out if something else is coming into contact with your skin and causing the problem. If irritation is due to scratchy fabric, or sensitivity to fabric texture, monistat chaffing cream can work wonders.

The Oatmeal bath they use for chickenpox can help irritated skin too. I've had to do that before, because my legs used to get so dry in the winter I'd itch them until they bled (not very nice to discover when you are itching your ankle in the middle of class.
Putting some bath oil in a tub of water and soaking for a bit can help dry skin too.

If this continues too much and nothing helps, you may need to see a doctor or a dermatologist.
If it's a large patch of skin, be sure to not coat yourself in Benedryl. Read the bottle carefully and make sure it's safe first. Most often stuff like that will warn against too much exposure to it.
