First date worries. Well everyone has them don't they?
Whether it's a tiny feeling in the pit of you stomach or you so nervous you almost feel sick - there is always some nerves and anticipation.
So I was thinking... I haven't done a blog post in a while... but what should I do it about? Then it hit me... the number of times people have posted questions asking about what to wear what to do what to feel on your first date... sooo I have devised this blog entry together to help all those people out there.
1. Be absoloutly comfortable with what your wearing. You want it casual but cool... So maybe skinnies and a pretty top and ankle boots? Or a highwaisted skirt and t=shirt for an eighties look? Whatever it is don't try tooooo hard. Also if your going to the cinema then your not going to want to wear a skirt that is so short that when you sit down it shows your pants. So be practical about it too.
2. Don't talk to your date on MSN or via texting alot just before your date otherwise you won't have much to talk about!
3. If there is a meal involved - don't go for garlic! If your expecting a kiss you don't want to give him a garlic kiss!
4. Take it slow... if they want to go further with you and you don't then don't let them. You have your rights and you don'y want to rush into something on your first few dates.
5. Let him talk then you talk. Don't let either of you do ALL of the talking ... say a bit about you and then you ask about him?
6. Relax and smile... - also after a meal go to the loos and see if you've got something stuck in your teeth or just to freshen up a bit.
The most important thing is to be yourself... Good luck!

Sorry I forgot before!
Smokey eyes = A big big BIG trend
So here is a step by step guide on how to achieve this look.
The key to the perfect smokey eye is proper blending. You want to make sure colors are blended together flawlessly. Also, it's important to pair light base colors with rich dark colors. Nice mixes include: Soft gold base with deep purple on top, champagne base with bright blue and peach base with green hue.
For this, I'd say that the difficulty is easy...and will only take about 5 mins once you've got the hang of it.
1.The key to keeping eyeshadow from melting into your eyelid crease as the day goes on is to kept eyelids oil-free. To do this start with an eyeshadow base (also called "primer").
2. Applying eyeliner. If you're going for a typical black, brown or gray smoky eye, apply liner in one of those colors above the upper lash line, drawing line thicker in the middle of eye. If your opting for a jewel-toned eye (violet makes a gorgeous smokey eye), line eyes with a purple, blue or deep green liner.
3.Blend in colour on bottom lashes. For color on the bottom (a key smokey eye look) you'll want a lighter eyeliner. The key is to "smudge it." You can also apply a bit of shadow to get full smudge effect.
4. Apply light base colour. Again, the key to a smokey eye is pairing a lighter base with the darker hue. I prefer a nice cream shade for my base. Sweep a light, shimmery shadow over the lids to your browbone.
5. Blend in darker colour, but keep it below the crease. Now that you have the base and eyeliner on, it's time to get the smoky effect. You need a darker eyeshadow shade. Using an eyeshadow brush blend in color starting at your lash line, blending up. Make sure to blend color into the lash line so the eye liner disappears. Stop deep color at crease.
6. Double check your work. Make sure eyes match and blend color with a Q-tip if need be.
7. Finish with several coats of volumising mascara.
Tips:
1. Remember to keep lips nude.
2. Fo fun try blue or purple mascara.
3. Liner doesn't have to come in pencil form. Make up artists know that eyeshadow can make the best liner. To do this, take an eyeliner brush, wet it, then dab wet brush into the dark shadow. This allows for a deep, precise line. You can also use the dark shadows without wetting brush first. Either way, eyeliner is necessary for smoky eye.
4.This season go jewel-toned (blue is great for you blue-eyed girls) and keep your eyes smoky but stay away from dark browns and black. Instead, go for a deep purple, a gold-brown or any of the many vibrant colors in this year.
Go smokey girls!!

So the first day back to school can be a big one, especially if your going up into high school.
After the summer break everyone's coming back and it's all different and you need a bit of time to get back into your school routine.
If your worried about going back to school then check out these pointers and if your not then you might just want to check them out anyway because, you never know, you could learn something!
1. Pack your bag the night before and make sure that everythings in the right place and it's all there. Ideally do it before dinner because then you will have time to remember anythings you have forgotten before it's too late. So you will need your school bag, your pencil case, in the morning you will need to make a packed lunch if you're taking one, you probably won't need your p.e kit as it's very unusual to be doing it on the first day.
2. What to wear? If you are one of the schools who don't have a uniform then you might want to plan out what your wearing the day before and you might want to plan out what your wearing the whole week as you don't want a morning panic! The first day you want to be trendy and look your best because first impressions count. But instead of wearing EVERYTHING trendy then you could have maybe one trendy thing a day on the first weeek, just to even it out, like the first day a check shirt, the second a tunic/dress with a waist belt etc... After the weekend though you shouldn't worry as much and just wear things you would normally wear.
3. Make-up. Keep it simple. A little foundation, mascara and lipgloss always does the trick and if you are lucky enough to have even skin and no spots and gorgeous long lashes then you probably only need lipgloss! Don't wear makeup in areas you don't need to. Keep it as natural as possible.
4. Friendship worries? Plan to see a friend in your class before you go back so that way you'll have something to chat about. Don't cling to one person on the first day though, give it a while and then choose who you want to hang around with. In your first year of high school friendships shuffle around alot so don't worry and just go with the flow, becuase you'll end up with the people who are most like you and who you get on with best.
5. Just smile and don't worry. Stessing means spots, dark under eye circles, tiredness and not feeling great - so if you can avoid stressing out then do!
