Showing 1 - 15 of 215 commentsThat's interesting about the two alphabets because one has 26 characters and the other 32, right? VERYYYYYY cute romper, dressier than a lot of the ones I've seen but very chic.
Play was really successful. It's a lot of work for three performances but worth it. You saw the pictures on FB, right? Oh, we're going to the shore of Friday and if I meet anyone from Serbia, I'll tell them I know their Princess. They will definitely be impressed :D
Oh yeah, all the summer kids are great. Do both Serbs and Croats use the Cyrillic alphabet? Oh I'll put the photos here, but if you want to see them now ck this FB link

I didn't take the pictures. they're from our school newspaper photographer who let me have some of the images. So they're pretty good.
Why is it that everything happens at once. You could enjoy the wedding more if the bday was next week (plus you could wear a different outfit :D) But I can see why you'd be exhausted. Pooor Princess!!! Cool jeans, very chic and distressed ha ha. And lots of girls here are wearing rompers (like I wore as a kid). some in denim, others in linen or cotton. Very cute look for summer. Here's some ideas:

Luv u 2 Princess. Hope you're more rested. xxxxxxx
I think you said it right about sour cherries. They're the kind you make pies and tarts with, huh? Oh and I forgot to tell you, but lots of college students from Eastern Europe come to Cape May to work in the summer. Why, I don't know? Two years ago, before I met you, Emma had met two girls from Serbia and I've met people from Croatia and Czech. Interesting!
I like H&M. They have a big store in downtown DC in this neat old building. And they have good clothes for guys and girls where Forever 21 is still mostly girls' stuff. I would love to see that bracelet especially since it's a "Dragana Original" LOL. And that's the right attitude to have, patience.
Well everything went great with the play, almost too easy!!! WE did all the costume changes on time perfectly. There was this one skirt that the hem came loose and one tee shirt with a scalloped bottom I had to fix, but nothing else thank goodness. The audience seemed to like it but since it's mostly friends and relatives they're probably not gonna boo, right?
The party afterwards was pretty nice. Pizza was great and they have this root beer that's really good too. I think I looked okay but spent most of the night with Peter, Ricki, and two girls in the chorus, Zoey and Rachel. Beth and Megan were alone together although we all hugged and told each other how much we loved working together even though we fight all the time :D I wore a dark gray blazer, pale gray linen pants, tight at the top but kinda baggy at the ankles, a lavender shirt, and gray and white keds.
Anyway, we left the party about 11:30 because the metro gets a little crazy after midnight with lots of drunks and tough kids raising hell. So I got home around midnight and talked with mom and then crashed. Today is the last performance.
Yeah I should have some pictures on FB (and maybe here) next week. I saw those photos in your question about the Bershka dress. Wow!!! You looked stunning. Actually you and your friends looked like a group of celebs. Really great!!!
Emma is going to be working as a waitress in Cape May, New Jersey where our shore house is. She can live at our house and still work and we'll see her when we're there. I may spend more time there now. It is pretty common for kids to work part time in the U.S. either to make money for school or just to keep busy. Maybe we need to learn to relax more :D I worked in the stockroom at Aberrcombie and Fitch clothing store part time last summer but really wanted to work in sales on the floor. I've applied for a few jobs this summer but may not work because of driving school. Plus we go to the shore a lot in the summer and it's hard for me to know when I can be available. I'd love to work at a place like Forever 21 or H&M where you get discounts on clothes. I could see you working at Bershka. You would be a walking advertisement.
The word "saloon" is like a bar or a pub, but usually a little tougher. If you've ever seen any U.S. western movies, you've seen saloons 'cause there's always a fight breaking out or something.
The dress was sensational. You were a beautiful princess except wearing great shoes instead of a glass slipper. What more can I say? And as far as Lord C goes, I think he means well. He's not just trying to confuse you, but he probably just can't make up his mind. More of those Bershka dresses and maybe he'll see what's right in front oh is eyes. Boys!!!!!!
Hihi Tatjana.. Al isto je to.xD
Kod mene "super".. Skola ubija, kao i obicno. Ali sve ostalo je manje vise na mestuu.
:]
Yeah, things have been pretty busy getting the costumes ready for the school play this week. We had a dress rehearsal last Friday so everything is getting calmed down now. Unless some dancer freaks out because her costume is too tight or something, most of our work is done. We still have to be backstage next weekend to help with changes and repairs.
Sunday in the U.S. was "Mothers Day" and we took my mom out for brunch yesterday (Emma's home from college for two weeks until she starts her summer job) and then went (with my aunts) to see a really funny Shakespeare play--the Taming of the Shrew. It was set in the old west in the USA in a saloon (do you know that word?). It was really well done; the lead actors (Kate and Petruchio) are married in real life, It's not the most "pro-woman" play cause it says that the woman gets "tamed" by the man, but you have to consider the time it was written in.
You're not bragging at all. The dress was awesome and I bet you were too. Is the photo on FB yet? Darling, that is an AMAZING story, like a soap opera. I think you did the right thing: you showed him how you feel, and that's all you can do. He's still obviously "confused: but there's no way you were "complicating" things. You were just making him commit or not and that's ok as far as I'm concerned. It's up to him now and if he doesn't respond, he's really dumb.
Great shoes, honey. You must've really been the hottest girl in town. :D
The may not make the boy or the girl, but nice clothes can help!!! I think Lord Cone is going to totally flip when he sees you in the Bershka. Hmmm, don't be confused, just enjoy the hand-holing. How did it feel? What were you thinking? I've seen some of the fishbone shoes but I usually think of them for the winter. I tried to find the ones you bought, but couldn't find them. I'm sure they'll look great though.
When does school end? We have another month then VACATION!!!!
Hiiiii Princess---hmmm, do names really affect how we are? That's a good question, huh? I mena what if my name was Mike or Butch? Would I be a big, tough football player instead of a small, weak, fashion lover? :)))) Probably not, guess I'd be the same. You'd be a princess even if you name was something like Bridget (which sounds more like a princess's maid than the princess). Oh well, being silly I guess. Princess Dragana is okay with me. Gosh I bet you can't wwait to wear that Bershka dress. It's so pretty AND didtinctive. mmmmmm
We were at the shore all weekend. Weather was nice but chilly. Lost of fog off the ocean. Busy week for me with play practice every day. Even tho I'm not in it, it's still a rush to adjust costumes, etc. xxxxxxxx--Prince Jackie (or Dillon or whatever) :)))
I must have missed your last comment. Just saw it today 4 some reason. I bet you give your friends good advice. You always give me good ideas and tips :D Oh thank you about the names. Jackie is kind of boring sometimes. Maybe I should be "Raphael?" :D It sounds like a hairstylist :)) I did see some pics on ur FB page and I'll look again. The peach dress sounds so pretty. Perfect 4 a princess :D
Sta ima? Jel me se secas? Ja sad naletela na tvoje pitanje pa reko da vidim kako je.. :]
I really hate when that happens. Sometimes I wish this site were run a little better, more like FB. But I love the people and the stuff we gab about, so...
It's all about emotions. It's a lot easier to think and say the right thing when your heart's not beating a mile a minute and stuff. I guess that's why friends (good ones anyway) are so helpful. Because they can see things that blind us when we get our emotions all involved. :D
No you explained it fine. In the Catholic church when you get confirmed, you have to take a saint's name for confirmation, but it doesn't have to be the saint's day when you were born. Most of the saints on my birthday were women, so that wouldn't work--like "Katherine or Theresa :)) There isn't any Saint Dillon :D So my confirmation name is Raphael, after the archangel. It's an unusual name, more Italian than Irish, but it goes back in our family for some reason.
I'll check out the pictures. Was one of these the party you were wearing the Bershka dress? Or was it the peachy one? I get confused with the thousands of dresses you have :D
You are so sweet Princess!! I thought princesses were supposed to be mean and here you are so nice. You're not losing me but I guess I'm drifting that way "D Oh and Kieran sent me an email saying he can't wait to see me again. Hmmmmmm, I can definitely see inviting him to the shore this summer. But you know, he could meet someone up there with lots of students around. Oh one funny thing. After the party at home, I told Julia that I didn't really notice he was gayish. And she rolls her eyes and is like, "omg Jackie you are so dense!! It was sooo obvious that he was gay and that he was flirting with you." See how dense I can be!
The thing you describes is totally normal. I'm exactly the same way. You know I can talk about anything anytime but when I was 13 and liked this gitl Amity (ot thought I did), I'd start talking and just get all messed up even talking about her clothes and stuff. She must've thought I was the village idiot.
Kieran is an Irish name. It means black or dark, which is a little scary. My middle name--Dillon-- is the Irish form of the Welsh name Dylan. It means faithful or loyal.
Love 2 u2 my Princess,
xoxoxox
J.
So ya know that the only thing to do is be patient and see what happens. It's clear to me that he likes you, but I guess he's shy or whatever.
Oh about Easter, So we went to my aunts house for Easter brunch and there were a lot of people there. And this guy who's the son of one of Aunt Alex's friends comes up and starts talking to me like we're old friends. He's 19 and going to college and we spent the whole afternoon talking and goofing around. I'm dumb sometimes and i couldn't figure out why he's be talking to me rather than girls like my sister who looked really great in her Easter dress. So we're sitting there andt we were both wearing shorts and he puts his leg up against mine and keeps it there. So I FINALLY got the picture. Anyway, he's 19 and goes to Penn State studying Hospitality Management. And he's 300 miles a way, but we email each other but it's nothing to get excited about. I'm sorry; I thought I told you already.
It's ALWAYS complicated, right? Never seems to be easy :)))) That's such a cute line, "You are THAT DRAGANA." But I understand your frustration completely. Most boys don't communicate real well, do they?
I really do love play. I take after my mom in that (and lots of other things too) I wanted to be an actor once (I guess everybody does) but that's not really my passion. Writing and clothes are more me.
I bet you're going to look totally awesome in the Bershka dress and I know how hard it is to reduce. And the mountain trip on the 8th sounds great.
Well, Ricki has a girlfriend so that's officially over. But I thought I told you about Keiran, the boy I met on Easter. Did I?
YAY YAY YAY!! That's good news. Even dense boys sometimes see the light. Well, I don't want 2 get ahead of you. So just tell me when you have everything worked out.
Awwww, that was sweet. I guess you can't do cyrillic characters here but I know you do and here's Irish for "I love you too." "Tá grá agam duit!" I had to learn some Irish when we did step dancing but don't remember much.
Mommy, my Aunts Alex and Nerissa, Julia and I went to a play yesterday afternoon. It was a play called "God of Outrage" and it's about two groups of parents who meet because their 11 year old kids get into a fight (the one actually hit the other one with a stick ugh). was "interesting" I guess, lots of funny parts (and some good cursing) but I didn't really get it fully I guess. At first I was like, "I can't imaging parents really acting that way" but then I thought about my own parents (before their divorce) and other kids' parents and I'm like, "Well maybe!" I can't complain tho, because I love going to the theatre and dressing up. Plus we went for Cuban food for dinner which I like a lot. (omg, I feel so fat today :D).
