the reflective boards makesure the sun shines from below your chin too so it gives you a nice even coverage. it's not really going to tan you more just make sure you get the whole area. baby oil (and even lipgloss or being in the water) makes the suns rays amplify so it tans you faster but it also increases the UVA and UVB rays that can damage and age your skin faster. it's always best if you're going to tan to use a moderate sunblock don't just use baby oil. and protect your lips with a SPF chapstick and don't forget to cover the bottom of your nose with your sunblock lotion the nose and lips are the easiest areas to get cancer from the sun
