What should I do with my hair?

I have red hair with brown eyes... it is just above my shoulders and i have side swept bangs... it is straight across... i think i want like a light feathering or something... help... :D

_pipper_'s answer: I don't think it is such a bad idea... i cut my hair all the time! An easy way to cut it is to put it in a ponytail right on top of your head and cut it... it will give you some layers and it wont be lopsided! b-)
