Dear Emo / Scene / SomewhereInThatCategory People,

 

Why Does " Scene " Hair Have To Be Straight ? I Love It, Don't Get Me Wrong, But Why ? Isn't Bein' Scene All 'Bout Bein' You And Unique And All That ? In My Opinion, Curly Hair Is More Individualized Than Straight Hair.

 

I Mean, You See All These Scene Queens With Straight Hair Damaged From Constantly Bein' Straightened And Teased. But, With Curly Hair, Isn't It Less Damage ? A, 'Cause You Don't Have To Straighten All Of It, And B, 'Cause There's Already Natural Volume To It.

 

But Even So, It Just Seems So Much More Unique To See Curly Scene Hair. Look At Myriam Sater:

 

 

And Just Compare The Curly Hair To Any Of The Other Straight Hair-ed Scene Kids Out There. Not Tryin' To Sound Like A Critic, Just Sayin'..

    Not to mention curly does not equate to healthy. If their hair is naturally straight, like mines, then, they won't need to flatiron it. The damage comes from a lot of other factors including, how often they dye/bleach their hair. How much they tease their hair , how well they actually take care of it.

    Like Geena already said, scene has been dead for a while. It's some kids who have discovered the pictures of old scene queens who seem to still try to bring it back, but meh, most people have moved on.

    well scene started in '07 and ended in '09. It was original straight. After it died alot of the younger generation afterwards have started to bring it back, try to at least. Don't get me wrong, scene is awesome, but it died and alot of girls don't realize that what they think they are doing is unique and their own is actually them copying from the originals. But since alot of girls tried to make it come back, their are curly styles now :)
