Bad Hair Cut

Yesterday, I went to a parlor to get a new haircut. I was pretty excited, because I planned to get an emo/scene haircut. I've done so many researches and collected so many pictures... Anyway, about the parlor, it's the most popular one in our country. As it is popular, so naturally it'd be expensive. But I didn't care about the money. All I wanted is a good haircut, that's all.

After reaching there, I talked to the reciptionist about the haircut that I wanted, she started telling me that I shouldn't get layer cut. The reason is, my hair is thin. Yes, my hair is really thin, I don't deny that. But the point is, I wanted to get choppy layers on top. Not the extreme type that most of the emo/scene girls do. Just the mild one. Like this:

Then she called an expert who was sitting a bit far and told her about this. She was also telling me not to get the layers at top. It wouldn't look good. I showed her the pictures that I took in my mobile. Do you know what she said? "The girl cut her hair in front and took it back to make it look like she has done the layers at her back too". And she is the expert.

What can I say, I was hopeless. These people, they don't know what they were talking about.
Anyway, I got an "as-usual" hair cut. It was nothing fancy. I was really upset. And the worst thing about this haircut is, they cut 1.5 or more inches at the back! It was near my hip! It took me a long time to get that length

And this was suppose to be the best parlor. Cursing them wouldn't bring back my hair.

I told my best friend about this, he told me that he'll cut my hair
Which kind of calm me down.
Because I was thinking about cutting my own hair.
Which was another wrong decision.
My boyfriend asked me why did I even go there?

My suggestion to you all, taking a picture wouldn't really help you. I've seen some emo/scene girls with thin hair. They looked really gorgeous.
So just go to someone who really knows what emo haircut is.
