Why are your looks bugging you? Why don't you trust your friend's words? o.O Either something isn't happening to you and you feel it's a result of your looks or you just want to be showered with compliments. It's probably the former though , but it almost certainly has nothing to do with one's looks the majority of the time.

It takes time. Something will happen eventually. Are you reserved or outgoing? Is it easy for you to approach others and/or for others to approach you? I say this because most of the time things don't happen because the wrong signals are being handed out (or no signals at all) . I hope you're not afraid to take risks. That's not your issue right?
