I was always very self-consious about my forehead and i would like to cut it in someway to not cause attention to that area. Also i noticed in pictures with short hair my face looks fatter. It get oily every day, and what colour would i go with, with my face tones?

My hair is thick, wavy, breaks easily, has own volume and sometimes has a life of its own. I want to have a shorter hairstyle, but unsure if my hair type can have any style. I was thinking along the lines of Cameron Dias, but don't think it would work. Any ideas? Pictures would be nice.
