Since your hair is virgin hair and has never been treated with color, you might be able to put blonde in your hair without lightening it with bleach. I would say a honey blonde is a level 8 on the scale, so it shouldn't be a problem. If you end up buying box color, buy l'oreal for it is the best out there. Otherwise I strongly suggest just going to a hair stylist.
