I love the knee socks look, especially in fall when you can wear wool shorts or a skirt with a great sweater. You can make some awesome color combos. I don't think knee socks are trashy at all. I think they look more preppy. There's some really cute ones on this site

It is not a trend it has been a part of fashion for ages and whether or not it looks trashy is dependant on how you coordinate your outfit.

Knee high socks can embrace different styles, nerdy, preppy, sporty etc. I can't even imagine a world without knee-high socks! Just plan your outfit to one certain style, don't mix them up, and you'll be fine! Put pics up!

I think you should definitely go for it..you can wear this trend with chic mini dresses, skirts and shorts...pay special attention to the selection of shoes...go for platform pumps or ankle booties.....:)
