Mmm sounds like your body reacted to a mosquito bite. When mosquito's bite, they produce a kind of saliva to block the hemostasis system which contains a secreted protein that causes inflamation and swelling around the bite. Depending on different blood types and body's reactions the swelling varies. It's nothing to worry about and it should reduce in a day or so :)

It sounds like maybe just a non-poisonous spider. There is no harm done except with a itchy red swolen spot! It should be gone in about a week tops!

a spider or a stinging bug could have landed on your finger while you were asleep and you irritated it and it bit you.
it should go down if it doesn't get better atleast a bit after 12hrs you may want to see a dr but it should start getting better on it's own. use some ice to help numb it

Swollen Middle Finger!?
It seems that my middle finger on my left hand is swollen. many the lowest joint of it and it is only a tiny bit red. i noticed that there was a bite on the finger that was itchy in the morning but i just noticed it is swollen very very swollen. in the pic it doesnt look like it but it is. i just dont know what is wrong and it is very itchy. could a bug do this to me? the swollen finger, the not swollen finger, it is also a bit warm, this is the pic of the swollen one , ok sorry my pics arent working i dont think...
