Well a lot of it has to do with your age and the way your eyes look naturally. I hate to make rules because we're all different, but for makeup "less is better" is a fairly good rule especially if you're a teen. Girls in school rarely need much makeup to bring out their natural beauty and make them look gorgeous, but they still tend to overdo it I think.(Of course, what do I know? I'm a boy!). So it's hard to answer your question without a pic of you with and without eye makeup. But my gut feeling is tat a thin layer of eyeliner plus some mascara on lashes and brows will be all you eed to be be beautiful.

If anyone says that you are putting on too much, then you probably are. Unless you are going for a more gothic/dark/emo look then you don't need to put on a lot. Like Jackie said "less is better' and it's true. My ex boyfriends family didn't even know I wore eyeliner until I forgot to one day and they were like, what happened to your eyes. HAHAH they said they thought they were naturally like that because they had never seen me any other way. Now that is Great! You want it to look as natural as possible. Although I am a brown skin and you are most likely white or close to it It's still the same thing.

It depends on your age,your style,in what occasion are you wearing.It's different for everyone,for me it could be over the top,but maybe for others it's just fine,and some may thing you need to put more.But try not to go "crazy" cuz,if you're in school,it could look over the top,save that look for the evening,when you're going out.You should post pic,so I can tell you my opinion,now I'm just guessing :) I prefer thin line.
