Well, I think it could look really good. But, if I were you, I would try doing it cosmetically first to be sure you like it before you actually have the piercing. There are some beauty products especially designed to do birthmarks and stuff.

I think you would look great with one. I wanted one but my husband talked me into getting a small nose stud instead which would also look great on you :)

I think a Monroe is really cute on most girls, but if you ever want to take it out or you let it close up by accident you will have a really unattractive scar in its place. So, try out some makeup options first like Jackie mentioned and see how you like it, then really give it some thought and decide whether it's something you can live with forever.
