Well I'm sure it would work and look great with that black dress. But real glossy black can be really hard to achieve at home. I'm afraid it could look kind of flat if it's not done professionally but I know that costs money. You could go black with some interesting highlights maybe and do it urself. But I think for glossy black, you should see a stylist.

Also, it's possible that black hair might require restyling. (I sound like a commercial for a salon, don't I? :D) I love glossy black hair cut in a very blunt geometric bob--looks so 1920s. But what do I know anyway? :D Actually you're so pretty,any style would look great.
