I've wanted scene hair for almost two years and my dad finally said yes, but my friends say it wouldn't look right on me because of my facial structure. Isn't there any scene haircut I can pull off? I can't attach a picture because I'm on my iPod, but here's a link:
Yeah, I know I'll need to straighten my hair and wear makeup. And no, my nose isn't really that big. I was holding the camera a little too close. Is there a scene haircut that would look good on me? It's okay for it to only be a mild scene haircut. My dad says it has to be subtle anyway. Oh yeah, I was tilting my head down a little in that picture. My nose is more upturned than that. Sorry I had such a creepy expression on my face., Kenzie said that I need to show you all a picture where I'm not tilting my head down, so here's a link:
Yeah, I know I suck at applying makeup. And the reason I didn't straighten my hair is because I lost that thermal protectant spray stuff and it's too cold to go to Walmart to buy more.

You could look good in it as long as you cut it, when/if you dye your hair, keep the colors LIGHT, NOT dark.
i think just a usual , side bangs with lots of choppy layers look would look good on you (: if you straighten your hair it will look really good i think (: Good luck!
I'm sure you know "scene hair" requires a good ammount of upkeep for it to look half ways decent. Straightening, back-combing, etc. You will also need heat protection spray/cream, deep conditoner, hairspray, that'll keep your hair healthy and pretty...short choppy layers, long side bangs and make sure they use a razor to cut it; that's what gives it that edgy, choppy look...I tried to find some not-so-bold cuts...ah, I remember when I wanted scene hair. Lol. ^_^
lol...if I didn't think they would look good, I wouldn't have posted them. And yes, I did look at the picture...the first chick with the brown hair has about your length; when you straighten your hair it will be slightly longer. The other ones...just say you want a shorter version of the haircut. Also, a lot of scene haircuts usually involve hair extensions. The reason I posted the pics is because you said you wanted a mild "scene cut"...so I posted a few pics.

i think they would look great on you :)
You need to find a style that has volume (still scene of course) to it. you have a high forward which I think goes great with layered bangs.
Here are some pictures that fit your length and I think would look best on you :)
Also! These styles can be worn wavy as well if there is a day wear your straightener breaks or your hair needs a break. Make sure to buy some products to defeat freeze and add shine :)
on the second pic it is the hairstyle of the girl on the right and in the last pic of the orange hair it can fit your length :) you can ask for layers and have them thin your hair out at your longest layer :)
hope this helped somewhat!

Could you show me a picture of one that would look good on me? My dad says I have to have a picture. He also says I have to get it professionally cut, so I need a picture that shows enough of the haircut for them to know what I'm asking for. I know most professionals can't cut it right, but I'll be going to a place that has a blog post about scene hair, so they'll probably do a better job than other professionals.
I know what it looks like, I just need to know if it'll look good on me. And didn't you look at the picture? All the ones you attached pictures of are too long.
Will a professional be able to tell how it's supposed to look in the back from the picture of the girl holding her boobs? Or from the picture of the girl in orange? Those are the only ones I think my dad might approve of. He thinks Brookelle Bones was a freak and the other picture definitely doesn't show the hair well enough.
Look at the picture where I'm not tilting my head down and tell me if you still think I'd look good with scene hair.
