I think you should decide whether you want a birthday party or no....13 is as important as the 14th birtday will be...so I think you should ask your mother to drop the subject if you are not in the mood of throwing a party...:)

It's definitely not strange, I'm thinking about not having a 16th this year and thats a big year too haha but it's just choice (: if it's just because you cant think of any more ideas for a party then i definitely say you keep looking! maybe a pool party at a local pool with my parties for the last 3 years i just have everyone come hang out in my back yard and play loud music and somehow my friends always think i have the best parties haha the small things can always be fun so just try to be open to other ideas (:

it's because it gets you all stressed out thinking of stuff to do right? i agree with mom, 13 is your 1st year as a teen and is sort of a coming of age so why not make it extra special? I suggest a pizza treat with your closest friends. And do it by a local pool, as vampkisses suggests.
