You're going to get an interview with the agent or booker where they will sit you down, have a chat, take a good look make some polaroids, do all the measuring, take your contact details, do a brief explaination about doing first test, building a book etc, ask if there are any questions and let them know they will get in touch the next day to tell you if they want to work with them.

Most of the time if they ask questions , or tell you things, or stare at you, depends on the agency. But you'll know the next day, or the current day, if they accepted you. My tip to you would be to get a modelmayhem, rather than a myspace or facebook. You want to look professional if this is the career you choose.

Which agency is it that you're interested in ? : ) Once again, good luck and best wishes, take care of yourself, modelling takes a lot of time and committment. It's not like an independant model , who works at their own schedule.

When they tell you that they've accepted you, THEN you need to practice poses and whatnot. They may give you information on who to contact to take lessons on walking, posing, facial expressions, etc, before the first practice shoot.

Goodluck (: It's funny because you always write about how ugly you are and you know your not because a person who thinks they're ugly whoudn't try modeling, trust me. Well theres really no knowing what they might ask you, it's most likely just random questions to see your personality, if you look them in the eyes, are confident, good posture, things like that and they most likely will not ask you to do poses just in an interview, but incase they do you have to be able to do them on the spot, again good luck! Awh you're so gorgeous! I modeled from age 12-13 and I helped my friend with modeling as well. I have been to different castings and watched several other ones that turned out to scam people. If it is an agency that is interested in your then that is a good first step. My friend got noticed on his Facebook modeling page and got contacted as well for a magazine shoot. They should not ask you for any money at all!!! If they do, tell them that is unacceptable and you wont do it. Agents are supposed to get you a job and then take their pay from that and give you your portion of it.
In an interview they may ask you What type of modeling are you interested in: Commercial, print, catalog, runway, lingerie, bathing suit, fitness, glamour, and body parts (legs, hands, ears..etc). It would be good to know which one really interests you.

They may also want to see your different poses for different facial expression: Happy, sad, depressed, angry, frustrated, overjoyed....and all of these have different looks or at least should cause your face to change.

They will probably ask about scars, and or birth marks.
Anything about your body you think is weird.
Then of course they will ask you questions about yourself, school, what you like to do in your free time (some agents like to know what kind of person they are dealing with).
Of course they want to know how dedicated you will be to the field.
