Well, you'll definitely need layers. And then from there it's easy. You just side part your hair, and to get volume you could try blow drying your hair upside down, or with a round brush. Use a root plumper. And then straighten your hair. You could from there, rat it. And then hairspray, hairspray, hairspray! (: It's a very cute hairstyle.

Hii!! Okay so I know this question is mad old and you've probably got whatever look you've got down now but I just thought I'd answer it for anyone else who happens to stumble by this question looking for an answer from me. Thats actually me in the photo. I promise. Really. All my photos are taken in my room with the same colour walls and I look like me(obviously) and I'm just stressing this cause i've seen a ton of people claim to be people in photos on the internet. But Its just me I promise. I've attached more recent photos (in chronological order even starting from when that photo was taken to now!) just to update and stuff. asdfjkl lol I'm seriously the most awkward person on the internet -.- OKAY BUT ON TO YOUR QUESTION!! My hair there was really hard to get down but once I got it it was great and fun (I'm so flattered you like it). To start- I cut my hair like that. I've seen one too many people go to the salon with a picture of what they want and the hairdresser cannot do it. IDK what it is but it never works. I started with the top layers of my hair and cut them mad short the shortest being only about 3-4 inches long. Then as I moved down I cut each layer under the next a bit longer till I got to my bottom layers which would be the longest. (I used to say all the time "like a christmas tree! Short branches on top and long branches on bottom" cause I love the holidays). The bangs are tricky. Pull what you want to be included into your bang swoosh thingy whateveryoucallit forward in front of your head. Then separate it and pull everything but the bottom most layer of that away and clip back the rest. Cut this bottom most layer into the diagonal shape (high low swoopy look). It's going to look a bit blunt but trust me here. Then bring back all the rest of your bangs that you previously clipped back. Carefully snip at them using the bottom most layer as a sort of guide to shape them into the across-the-face swoop of your dreams (: the idea is that you're incorporating them together to make this. There shouldn't be too much angularity with it, it all needs to flow together. Then on the side the bangs are flowing AWAY from cut your fringe to frame the face (you can see it better in one of the photos). Then you're basically good! Longer hair usually looks best with that cut- mine is naturally long but I know a lot of people who use extensions and it looks fantastic! To style, run some styling cream through your hair to prep it, then carefully tease the shorter layers up by using a comb and combing BACKWARDS toward your hard. Warning though- doing this too much (like over and over for weeks) can really damage your hair so either use strong conditioners and hair protectors or only do this every once in a while. Continue backcombing all your layers so they fall together like so. You can youtube search teasing hair or backcombing hair and I'm sure millions of videos will show up. Finish off with some hairspray hold and you're good!! I hope this helps you or anyone else who stumbles across this!
