Well the first thing is you have to be logged in as administrator to change parental controls for a user (I guess that's you). So, your mom will need the administrator password to do it. What I recommend is to contact Dell tech support (phone or online chat) and see if they can help. One phone # I have is 1 (888) 785 6482 and they also sometimes have an online chat capability where the tech can help you out. But one problem--depending on what kind of warranty you have, Dell might charge you for the service. So check first to make sure it's not too much.

How to remove Parental Control on a Dell Inspiron 1545
My mum put parental lock on my laptop a few years back but now we want to take it off because it won't let me download any software which i have to use for school and won't let me connect to my printer. We want to take it off but she's forgotten her password so we are a little stuck. How do we take it off? Many thanks :D
