You can buy a crimper for about 20 dollars or so. They work really good. :)

I think this is a pretty good tutorial and you just need a flat iron. I'm pretty sure it works with hair of any length. :)

See this tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1iD759oruA One thing I would suggest though, is not flipping your hair over to add volume but definitely separate each individual curl and work through them with your fingers~

Without braiding.I have a curl cream and that works sometimes.My hair is about 2 inches above my shoulders.
