Best thing to do is take the pictures with you and talk it over before she or he starts cutting. Be sure to ask what it will take to keep it that way. Some styles look great when you leave the salon but are hard to maintain. But messy hair isn't that hard if you have a good blow dryer and curling iron and a few products.

BTW, I love the hair in the second picture. That would be a great style. AND I agree about Ke$ha. Actually, as bad as her hair looks, it's much better than her makeup which is totally awful xD

How to get a good messy hairstyle?
I'm getting a haircut soon, and I want to get it cut like Kristen Stewart's in the first picture, or a longer version of the girl with the headband's style. Basically I just want to know what I should ask the barber(or is it hairstylist?) for and how much work it would take (hairspray, ironing, ect.) to have my hair look like that.
Also: Could this hairstyle potentially make me look like Ke$ha in the picture below? Because if so, I don't think I'd want to get it.
