you take a section of hair around your crown and tease it then fasten it with a clip just behind the puff (teased section) and you can curl all your ends

its not hard...just pull some of your hair back and pin it back (it doesnt have to be extremely smooth or else it wouldnt match your hair and look dumb) your hair that is not pulled back and is right in front of your face near your roots make sure you lift it up with some volume and not sticking to your forehead. then make sure you rearrange your hair that is pulled back so it lays right it should work with some practice unless your hair is crazy curly
