Definitely choose something you're good at,,,cause you'll have the chance to improve your skills in that domain...if you're choosing something that brings a lot of money but you have to struggle to be good at it...you'll lose your enthusiasm...:)

I think the reputation and the career options colleges offer are the most important factors to consider....You should opt for something you're good at...trust me I am over the colege years and it was a pleasure to study something I loved.....

First,don't let anyone make pressure on you.I'm in last year of high school,and I'm going to collage next year,so we're in the same situation.
You need to find something you like to do,something you'll be good at and something that you can enough money so you can live.It's a miracle if you can find those things :D See what kind of jobs you can do after your collage.Think would you like to work with people or by yourself,indoor outdoors,do you like law or economic..
Just don't stress yourself,just thing about these things. And you'll find what you want,just again don't let anyone pressure you on anything.

I agree with all the answers and I just really think it should be something you love, regardless of whether you think you're good enough for it or not. Just think about it as something that gets you on the path to the career you like. So that, eventually, you choose a career that will put a smile on your face each day you wake up, and if you don't know what it is yet, that's perfectly fine, you've still got some time to figure it out.

For college, write a list of things you definitely want in a school- i.e. sports, dorms, private school, close to home, near the city, travel abroad program, etc. And if any, a list of what you definitely can't have, and then, when looking through college flyers and brochures, you can rule out anything that doesn't have what you need or want, or has something that you don't want to deal with. And for majors, don't push yourself yet, work on narrowing down colleges, and looking through what they offer might help. In fact that may be what helps you choose.
