I think The best way to get this look is to add lots of volume. So wash and condition hair as normal,then while hair is still wet comb through a volumizing mousse or spray and comb through the hair. Then blowdry your hair UPSIDE down until it is 90% dry. Then I would do another light misting of volumizing spray and a good hairspray and then dry the rest of your hair. If your hair is very curly then straighten it, otherwise leave it like that. Then I would use a dry shampoo to add texure to the hair and then use a bristle brush to tease the hair, concentrating at the crown and then just comb hair into place

So to get this look you def need the hair cut for it!! :D
the hair looks soft and wispy but it doesn't have really short layers on top which is good so you should ask for the length to be 3 inches past your shoulders. Tell them POINTY layers! Also, the bangs in the pic is an illusion :) it is just short layers throughout the whole hair so it is sweeped over :)
once you get the cut brush your hair and let it dry. Grab some heat protectant pray and spray it throughout your hair. While your head is upside down just blow dry a bit with a paddle brush or fingers to have your hair dry more and dry the roots when your head is upside down to creat natural volume. Then straighten your hair when your head is still upside down and style with little bit of hair wax or styling serum :)

p.s.! ask friends for great places to get this cut! Don't go to places that stick to traditional long common layered hair because they can end up butchering your hair haha
